The 5mp digicam was stolen out of Em’s car after the wreck, but I still have the 6mp and planning a road trip through a couple states to catch my grandfather on his way out. He is still one of my favorite people in the world and I would hate to think that I had one last change to reaffirm that to him and missed out on it…

Mom was here all last weekend. What a trip, haven’t seen her in almost 3 years. Got to hang out and chat alot, show her a little of my latest projects and eat a bunch of food. Went out to Lake Havasu. Ultimately it was a rather uneventful visit.

Alot of people are coming to me lately asking me for advice, apparently they think I am doing a good job of handing it out. Imagine asking me what I would do in any give situation, and expecting to get anything of value in return. I am so screwed up it’s a wonder people even speak to me some days, let alone ask me to speak back to them. Found a quote online recently that made me feel alot better about sharing my insights and ideas with people.

People who ask our advice almost never take it. Yet we should never refuse to give it, upon request, for it often helps us to see our own way more clearly. ~Brendan Francis

This guy was pretty sharp, had some good things to say. I give him a thumbs up.

Greetings! I liked your article. I wonder if you can help? I am trying to run down Brendan Francis whom you quote. As far as I can determine, he was a popular American playwright, raised in New England. A keen observer of life and a commentator
on an extensive spectrum of social issues. Well known for his political views and satirical writings. Do you happen to know when and where he was born?

(Many people confuse him with that Irish scallywag Brendan Francis BEHAN).
Thanks for any help you can give.

    John

    Hello John Meanwell!

Incredibly, just like you I have been trying to trace Brendan Francis. . .I always try to write a couple of words about such people. In his case, all I have been able to say is this:

    Brendan Francis.
A popular American playwright, raised in New England. A keen observer of life, and a commentator
on an extensive spectrum of social issues. Well known for his political views and satirical writings.
