So, I’m in San Francisco for the next couple weeks working on some technical certifications; MSCE and Security+.
I’m being put up at a neat little home away from home joint with all the amenities of section eight housing in beverly hills. Complete with a view of an old nascar wreck out my window. A far cry from Puerto Rico and beautiful beaches.
The trip isn’t without it’s highlights, though. I’ve been able to hang with my friend Jared whom I haven’t seen in a couple years and bask in the glory of his hugemantic television.
There is never a shortage of eye candy in the Bay Area, more asian cuties than you can shake a stick at. Believe me on this one. I’ve tried.
Sadly though, I am holed up in my hotel room half the time, studying away. The rest of the time I am here at the testing facility, which isn’t all that bad. We are right down on the water, so i get to eat lunch with kayaks and sailboats every day.
I tried to take some pictures of the water and lights this evening but it is a little too dark for my dinky little camera, so if anyone has a digital slr laying around that they aren’t using, keep me in mind.
But anyways, now for the good news!!!
I passed my first test this evening! 928/1000. Not too shabby. Only took me 40 minutes out of the 4 hours they allow.
Yeah. I’m pretty super.
Anyways, enough bragging. Another test coming up tomorrow; gotta study.
