Over the years I have had few friends more sincere than Chris and Tanya Young.
They have and continue to see me through the darkest parts of my existence with tough love, gentle counsel, and the laughter of genuine hearts. Some of you know them, those of you who do not could do a lot worse than to ask me for an introduction.
I spent last night on a humanitarian mission bringing food, homemade salsa, and cigarettes to them at their house in Phoenix. I wasn’t alone. As many people as they have touched with their lives it was a surprise their small house wasn’t filled wall to wall, but there were close friends and even some near strangers in attendance.
Tanya’s mother died this week. Her Services will be held in Prescott this weekend as the details below specify. Anyone who needs a ride or wants a carpool passenger, please let me know and I will do what I can to arrange it.
I cannot tell you how much I regret that this site has turned in to a string of announcements of those who are no longer with us. I’m praying this is the last of these for quite some time. Chris and Tanya have a lot on their plate right now and are bravely doing what they can to organize this whirlwind, but they can only do so much. Please if you have any desire to help or attend the services let me know and I’ll help coordinate.
